The analysis of circulating tumor cell (CTC) cluster provides a new idea for the study of tumor metastasis mechanism, and promotes the development of tumor diagnosis and prognosis, drug screening, gene mutation detection and anti-metastasis treatment. However, they are not easy to identify because they are present in a very small number. It is estimated that a teaspoon of blood may contain only about 5-50 CTCs.
​Aptamers are oligonucleotides or peptides that are selected from a pool of random sequences that exhibit high affinity toward a specific biomolecular species of interest. Therefore, they are ideal for use as recognition elements and ligands for binding to the target. In recent years, aptamers have gained a great deal of attention in the field of biosensing as the next-generation target receptors that could potentially replace the functions of antibodies.

Dr. Mojgan Ahmadzadeh Raji

Dr.Mojgan Ahmadzadeh Raji has completed her PhD in Nano-biotechnology from University of Tehran as a common project with York University, Toronto, Canada.
She began her career as a researcher in National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (NIGEB) and she continued her research work in Central research laboratory in University of Tehran from 2001 to present.

Dr.Leila Yazdanpanah is an assistant professor of clinical sciences at health research institute University of Medical Sciences, Ahvaz, Iran. She has more than 16 years’ experience of clinical research, medical and teaching experience.She has written a book chapter for Springer publisher due to invitation of Prof. Melanie Coathup (College of Medicine at the University of Central Florida, U.S.).

Mrs.Akram Dabestanian is an experienced Project Manager with biomedical lab experience. As an experienced project manager, she possesses knowledge related to cost control, subcontractor and client management, and planning and coordinating various projects, analyzing the financial risks and benefits on business initiatives.

Mr. Ali Maghsoudi is value-driven product manager with more than 10 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams to plan, build, launch and manage product innovations. He got his MBA from pharmaceutical science school. He possess a blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision and ambitious to make that vision a reality. He is responsible for investigating potential new markets for APTAS Biotech's products and readying the product set for market exploitation
